Valtrex Valaciclovir Valaciclovir Hydrochloride Oral Suspension is a topical treatment to treat cold sores and genital herpes, as well as the viral infection cold sores and shingles. It also helps with the healing process of shingles caused by Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Valtrex Valaciclovir Valaciclovir Hydrochloride Oral Suspension can be used to treat shingles caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) or herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2). It works by preventing the replication of the virus, thus slowing down or stopping the healing process of the sore and shingles.
